Green Ship Design
We are performing state-of-the-art hull form optimization and model testing to reduce resistance and fuel consumption. Our marine engineering group designs mechanical and propulsion systems to significantly reduce carbon emissions. We are working with our clients to implement alternative fuel sources. We are also working to improve the shipboard environment in the areas of noise reduction, habitability, and safety. We are excited to see our clients demanding new green design options. As engineers and citizens, we are keenly interested in protecting the quality of our air and oceans.
