GBMS is a customized software program that assists vessel operators with all aspects of ballast water management, including:

Voyage Planning

Using GBMS, vessel operators can plan their entire voyage’s ballast water uptakes, exchanges, treatments, and discharges.

Regulatory Compliance

GBMS indicates to the software user whether planned activities are in regulatory compliance. Using the regulatory help documents and maps that are built into the software, vessel operators can modify their ballast water plan accordingly.

Reporting and Record Keeping

GBMS prepares international reporting forms and ballast water logs at the push of a button, saving deck officers hours of time with paperwork and increasing consistency and accuracy of their ballast water reporting.
