Regulatory & Operational Analysis

Increased environmental awareness and evolving regulations impose significant impacts on the marine community. Glosten is helping clients meet these challenges by integrating our engineering, design, and operations expertise into practical environmental solutions. In addition, Glosten can help clients integrate requirements into vessel operations to avoid the significant consequences of non-compliance with environmental regulations.

To assist the marine industry in its evaluation of key environmental initiatives and emerging technologies, Glosten is currently working with SNAME’s Technical & Research Program to develop a marine vessel environmental rating system. The process to develop this system will be inclusive of key stakeholders, and result in metrics to assess a vessel’s environmental footprint over its entire life-cycle. See Marine Environmental Rating System, Pacific Maritime OpEd for additional program details.

Clients can call on Glosten for a wide variety of regulatory & operational analyses, including
